FamilySearch Content Strategist
Patrick Monson, PhDPatrick recently completed a PhD in History from Princeton University, where he studied imperial and legal history, with a focus on Eastern Europe. His research has been supported by Fulbright, the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies, and the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies. He received a BA in Family History-Genealogy from Brigham Young University; and an MA in Estonian History from the University of Tartu. He currently serves as an adjunct instructor of paleography at BYU-Idaho; and a content strategist for FamilySearch, helping to manage efforts to preserve archival documents in several Eurasian countries.
