Jensen CordonBorn in Utah and raised in North Carolina, Jensen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Genealogy from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, establishing a strong academic foundation in family history methodology. His specialized interest in Hispanic family history was deeply influenced by a two-year mission in Mexico City, and he continues to speak Spanish daily at home.
Professionally, he spent 4.5 years at Ancestry ProGenealogists, solving complex lineage brick walls for clients with Hispanic and Southern European ancestors. He now works as a Research Consultant at the FamilySearch Library on the Latin America and Southern Europe team, where he utilizes his expertise in regional records and paleography to help patrons connect with their international ancestry.
